Nicolás Londoño (Aka. NCK NAME)
Head Engineer/Producer/Composer
The Mixing Playground is the brainchild of NCK NAME, recipient of the Marty Award for Best Emerging Artist in New Media. Over the past 18 years, Nck has built a reputation for his meticulous attention to detail, unwavering dedication to his craft, and passion for every project he takes on.
Since launching The Mixing Playground in 2021, Nck and his team have delivered full-service sound production for more than a dozen major international projects. Highlights include The Witch Trials of La Befana (featuring Oscar-winner Anjelica Huston), Mother of All Shows (featuring Wendie Malick), and award-winning features like Mother Father Sister Brother Frank (featuring Enrico Colantoni) and Six Days 2 Die (featuring Colm Feore). Most recently, his work on James McAvoy: California Schemin’ will be featured at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival.
Nck cut his teeth as an in-house audio producer at some of Canada’s top post-production studios, contributing to major motion pictures and national ad campaigns—an experience that allowed him to learn from the best in the industry.

‘Daysun’ Johnson
Composer/Producer
DAYSUN is a 2025 Canadian Screen Music Awards (CASMA) nominee, recognized for his standout composition work on the TVO/PBS series Wordsville. His score across 33 episodes blends energetic horn sections, funky R&B grooves, and mysterious textures that perfectly complement the show's educational narrative.
Beyond television, DAYSUN composed the score for the award-winning documentary Hard to Kill, directed by Mansel James and produced by Sari Friedland (Blindness, Enemy). The film—about a brain cancer survivor and vintage motorcycle racer—won “Best Documentary Feature” at the Toronto Independent Film Festival.
A longtime studio owner and former bandleader, DAYSUN brings deep production expertise to every project. He has collaborated with industry leaders including Noah “40” Shebib (Drake), composer Rob Carli (Murdoch Mysteries), and brands like Dutch clothing label GSUS, in addition to producing numerous artist projects across genres.
Rooted in his multicultural heritage and formal training, DAYSUN’s signature sound fuses soul, funk, rock, hip-hop, and orchestral elements into cinematic scores that inspire and resonate with audiences on a deeper level.

Jessica Martins
Executive Producer/Advisor Business Relations
Jessica Martins is the Founder of Hero Artists and a founding partner at Hero Entertainment Partners. She has executive produced several notable films, including Forsaken (eOne; starring Donald Sutherland, Kiefer Sutherland, Demi Moore), the Netflix Original Kiss & Cry, The Last Full Measure (Roadside Attractions/Lionsgate; featuring eight Academy Award-winning actors including Christopher Plummer and Samuel L. Jackson), and Universal’s musical biopic Spinning Gold (starring Jeremy Jordan, Jason Isaacs, Wiz Khalifa, Jason Derulo, and Michelle Monaghan).
Most recently, Jessica completed the first of three films in the upcoming musical franchise Juliet & Romeo (starring Rebel Wilson, Clara Rugaard, Derek Jacobi, Jason Isaacs, Rupert Everett, and others), set for theatrical release in Spring 2025.
Jessica has expanded Hero Group internationally, establishing offices in London, New York, and Rome alongside its Canadian headquarters. Upcoming productions include Sheriff Street, directed by Oscar-winner Jim Sheridan, and The Year of Wonders, an international co-production.
She also serves on the advisory board of Tiltify, a live-streaming charity fundraising platform, and is a member of the Producers Guild of America (PGA), the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television, Women in Film and Television (Toronto, New York, and Italy), the EIC, and the Women’s Executive Network (WXN).
Jessica brings her global experience, strategic business relationships, and creative production expertise to The Mixing Playground, helping deliver efficient, high-impact solutions for productions worldwide.
